Inspired by our beautiful Devon home, we're passionate about creating colourful, comfortable footwear you'll love wearing, while caring for the people and places around us.
We know being a responsible business is an ongoing journey. From choosing materials and working closely with suppliers to reducing waste and supporting our communities, we're always looking for ways to do better.
Our approach
Being Responsibly Moshulu is about more than the shoes we make. It's about the choices we make along the way, guided by three things that matter to us.

We want our shoes to be pairs you reach for time and time again. That's why we consider fit, comfort and materials carefully, test our products and listen to what our customers tell us.
And with the right care, your favourites can keep looking and feeling their best for longer.
Understanding what goes into every pair.
We work closely with suppliers to understand how our footwear is made, including the materials used and working conditions.
From leather sourced through Leather Working Group (LWG) tanneries to exploring recycled materials and more considered packaging, we're taking practical steps to improve.

Behind the shoes
We believe actions speak louder than promises. Here are some of the ways we're working to make more thoughtful choices.
We work towards sourcing more of our leather from tanneries assessed against Leather Working Group standards.
We're increasing the use of FSC-certified or recycled content in our shoe boxes and looking for ways to reduce unnecessary plastic.
Ethical and health and safety assessments help us understand working conditions and identify opportunities to improve.
Product testing, returns information and your feedback help us keep improving the quality, fit and comfort of our footwear.

There's something lovely about finding a pair of shoes that feels just right. A little love and attention can help keep your favourites looking their best for longer.
A second chance
When it's time to say goodbye to a much-loved pair, there may still be a way to give it a new lease of life.
If your shoes are in wearable condition, consider passing them on or donating them to a charity shop. For pairs that have seen better days, check whether a local recycling bank or centre accepts footwear.

Hospiscare provides invaluable support and comfort for people and their families when they need it most. Each year, Moshulu makes a donation to Hospiscare to help support this important work.
Looking after the wild places we love.
Inspired by the flora, fauna and wildlife found across Devon's beautiful nature reserves, we've collaborated with Devon Wildlife Trust on a special footwear collection close to our hearts and home. 12% of every sale from the Devon Wildlife Trust Collection is donated directly to Devon Wildlife Trust, helping support its work to protect and enrich Devon's nature and communities.
